How long can I store my handmade soap?

Are you wondering how long you can store GBB’s handmade, vegan soap? Since GBB soap is made with all natural ingredients and does not contain harsh chemicals and preservatives, it will not have a shelf life as long as commercially made soaps. With that being said, GBB soap has can be stored for 2-3 years. To preserve the scent, it is recommended the soap be stored in a box away from humidity and direct sunlight. A cool, dry place is recommended for the soap storage. Some GBB soap contains colorant and direct sunlight will fade the soap. Although this will not have an impact on the usefulness of the soap, it will change the look and color.

As with other items you purchase, it is recommended to use the older soap first and rotate your soap stash. Happy lathering!
